Welcome to Traveling with Grace

I'm Anna Grace! I believe humans are multi-faceted, and I want this website to reflect that. I love to travel and have learned so much along the way that I want to share with y'all. I'm also a nurse and want to help others in healthcare cope with the crazy things we see. In my spare time, I enjoy reading and soaking up as much knowledge as I can. My goal with this site is to share travel tips as well as pieces of my life. Welcome!

I realized that I haven’t really told y’all about the normal everyday happenings of van life, and you may have some questions. So, I’m going to fill you in.

When we don’t go on adventures, we do what everyone has to do; it just may look a little different. You may be wondering how do we get mail since we live in a van. Well, we have a P.O. Box at the post office. We also use informed delivery so we know when to go check our P.O. Box. It takes the guess work out and saves us money on gas.

AG, how do you do laundry? We got lucky and there’s a great laundromat in Lacey. We’re able to get all of our laundry done in an hour. Plus, there’s a Dutch Bros in the parking lot so I get to have my coffee fix as well.

My favorite flavor is the Kicker

Where do you drop off your trash and empty your toilet? If we only have a little bit of trash, we’ll empty it out while we get gas. If not, we find rest areas. Bonus if they have a dump station. Washington also has a good bit of dump stations at their parks. Some are free and others are usually $5-$10. We typically empty the toilet twice a week. I’ve been doing my best to keep up with the dump stations by adding them to the map on my website.

Do you have any other questions about what we do on the daily?
